I am a M.S. candidate in Data Science for Public Policy at Georgetown University, McCourt School of Public Policy, USA. My research and policy interests lie at the intersection of Computational Social Science, Foreign Policy, Public Administration, and AI Governance, with a particular focus on Conflict Processes and U.S.-China Relations. Before my graduate studies, I received my B.A. in International Politics from Peking University, Yuanpei College, China.
Using bilateral events data from GDELT and official White House statements from 2009 to 2025, we applied lexicon-based sentiment analysis to statements and examined their relationship with U.S–China events using time-series methods.
